This rare, desirable, aluminum-bodied Ferrari 500 F2 was produced in limited quantities by MLB for the Italian distillery Toschi. There were two models: one held a bottle of Toschi cherries in liqueur and the other had a wind up mechanism. These were presented to celebrities and race drivers, including Alberto Ascari and Juan Manuel Fangio. This car has been professionally restored and painted in the correct color and is in very good condition, with the original solid rubber tires, wheels covers, aero screen and filler cap. The wind mechanism is not all there Usually you see these that are untouched and weathered and that's the condition some would like to buy them in as an untouched collectible is viewed to to more valuable than a restored one. I have just been informed that there are a lot of fakes out there which I was unaware of, Cars that were weathered to look old when in fact they are fakes This car was in such bad shape when I bought it that restoration was the best choice This is an original car We restored original Ferrari's so the work that was done was done properly and done well I matched the color from the car that is in my personal collection so I know that it is correct Let me know if you need any further information and I will answer.
